I think it would be in order to introduce myself first, i am a mum to 4 kids aged 11, 8, 7 and 3 years old. Living in sunny South Africa.
I have been wanting to write this blog for a really long time. And parents to 4 children will tell you that time is really never enough. Often our adventures are so exciting that i wish we could relive them. Which is hardly ever the case because each time we try to relive a memory, we are actually really just creating a new memory. Every experience is unique even though the setting may be similar.
Nonetheless i would like to at least document a few of our experiences and share them with you in helping to create memories of your own.
I’ve titled my blog Kid-Edventures with an “E” because our adventures are really very “E”ducational. Not because we always plan it to be that way, but often because a childs first years are really all a learning experience and most times a new encounter.
I wish i had managed to capture more of our processes, many times i just manage to snap the beginning and the end – mainly because the actual fun happens in between and i would much rather experience it first hand and not through a lense.
